Sidekick Dog Training

"Sit. Stay. Come. Good dog!" 

Sidekick offers group training classes for puppies and adult dogs from beginning to advanced, including an out-and-about real life manners class, a class for handlers training two dogs at once, and a specialized course for dogs who are feisty with other leashed dogs.

Group training classes give you and your dog the opportunity to learn the basics with the added challenge of learning to focus around people and other dogs. Puppies receive extra socialization via off-leash play with other puppies and fun interactions with all of the human students.

Whether you are a first-time dog guardian or an experienced handler, Sidekick has got a class for you!

Classes Offered in Bothell: 

• NEW! S.T.A.R. Puppy. Beginning (or continuing) training and socialization for puppies ages 4 months to 7 months. Upon graduation, puppies are certified as S.T.A.R.* puppies by the AKC. (*Socialization, Training, Activity, Responsibility.)
• Advanced Puppy. Advanced training and socialization for graduates of puppy class (up to 1 year of age).  
• Adult Beginner. Basic training for dogs/puppies 7 months old and older.
• Adult Intermediate. Intermediate training for graduates of Adult Beginner.
• Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Prep & Test. Specialized training for dogs preparing to take the AKC's CGC test.
• Off Leash Manners. Prepares dogs and owners to visit the dog park.
• Clicks & Tricks. Beginning, intermediate and advanced trick training using the clicker to shape behavior.
• Feisty Fido. Specialized training for dogs who behave aggressively (growl, bark, lunge) at other leashed dogs.

Classes offered in Bellevue:

• Puppy Head Start. Socialization, training and problem-solving for puppies ages 8 to 16 weeks. A must for the new puppy guardian!
• Puppy Manners S.T.A.R.* Beginning (or continuing) training and socialization for puppies ages 17 weeks to 7 months. Upon graduation, puppies are certified as S.T.A.R.* puppies by the AKC. (*Socialization, Training, Activity, Responsibility.)
• Super Puppy. Intermediate training for graduates of Puppy Manners.  
  
• Dog Manners. Beginning training for dogs/puppies 8 months old and older.
• Double Dog Manners. Beginning/intermediate training for TWO dogs at once.
• NEW! Shy Dog Manners. Beginning training for dogs/puppies 8 months old and older who take time to warm up to new people & environments.
• Super Manners. Intermediate training for graduates of Dog Manners and/or Super Puppy.
• Manners About Town. On-the-go training in real world situations with real world distractions.
• Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Prep. Specialized training for dogs preparing to take the AKC's CGC test.
• Reactive Rover. Specialized training for dogs who behave aggressively (growl, bark, lunge) at other leashed dogs.
